1. What sizes do mattresses come in?
I-Webshops sell standard UK sizes extra small, small, small double, double, kingsize and superkingsize. We also do continental double and continental kingsize on selected mattresses, view the table below for dimensions.

2. What is the lifespan of a mattress?
Average lifespan of a mattress depending on the quality is 8-10 years. You are advised to change your mattress every ten years.
3. What is a sprung mattress?
Using a simple metal sprung system within the mattress for support a sprung system is usually found in basic mattresses.
4. What is a pocket sprung mattress?
Using individually pocket springs that adjust to your movement and contours pocket springs are renowned for offering comfort and support. Coming in a range of spring counts the higher the pocket spring count the softer and comfortable the feel.
5. What is a foam mattress?
A foam mattress is a block of Polyurethane foam providing a soft or firm feel than more traditional methods.
6. What is a memory foam mattress?
A memory foam mattress if certified space technology, foam is treated to regain its original form. Heat sensitive memory foam conforms to your bodies contours providing superior support and comfort.
7. What is a latex mattress?
A latex mattress is made from natural rubbers and has a similar comfort feel to memory foam. Unlike memory foam which is heat sensitive latex is renowned for its cooling qualities.
8. What is a pillowtop mattress?
A pillowtop is a layer of fillings on top of the mattress to give it a softer feel.
9. What are firmness settings?
Mattresses come in three firmness settings (soft, medium, firm). If not staded on a mattress it will be a medium firmness. Firmer settings are ideal for people that suffer with back pains.
10. What is a tufted mattress?
In a tufted mattress the fabric/fillings is held together with buttons to give it a generally harder feel.
11. What is a quilted mattress?
In a quilted mattress the fabric/fillings are stiched together to give it a generally softer feel.
12. What are the different bases for mattresses?
There is a varied selection of bed bases on divans, bed frames etc... Most common bases are platform top/sprung edge on divans and slatted base/beech sprung slats on bed frames.
On divans platform top is a flat surface to place your mattress on and sprung endge includes springs to give the mattress a generally softer feel.
On bed frames slatted base is a flat surface to place your mattress on and beech sprung slats are wooden sprung to give the mattress a softer feel.
13. What is coolmax?
Coolmax is a fabric used on selected mattresses. An effective fibre-based moisture management system it is used to modorate temperature during sleep.
14. What is outlast?
Outlast is certified space technology used on selected mattresses. Mattresses incorporating outlast technology continously interacts with the unique microclimate of the human body and the enviroment to moderate temperature from being too hot or too cold to being just right.
15. When can I expect delivery?
Mattresses on the site are either on our next day or three day program, cut off time for next day delivery is 3:30pm and delivery is between 8:30am and 5:30pm. Saturday delivery is available at an extra cost of £49.00
16. Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery is free for England, Wales and the bottom of Scotland. For delivery to the following postcodes (IV, KW, AB, DD, PA, PH) a delivery charge of £49.00 will be added to the order. We do not deliver to Ireland or any off shore Islands. Saturday delivery is available at an extra cost of £49.00
